WTS have conducted the electrical inspection and testing to all of Northumberland County Council’s buildings since 2011 to present. WTS successfully won the tender for the 5 +2 year EICR testing contract commencing from April 2022.

The majority of the work has been conducted out of hours so as to minimise disruption to schools and office staff. The 100% testing regime forms part of the annual, 3 yearly and 5 yearly testing program depending on the type and nature of the building to comply with frequency of inspections.
Buildings forming part of the annual inspection being caravan parks and swimming pools. Leisure centres and horticultural sites form the bulk of the 3 yearly program.
5 yearly inspections to all other buildings including office blocks, schools, highways depots and community buildings.
