During the course of an inspection or by the client’s request, it may come to our attention that the building in question may benefit from a power quality and load profile report.

This type of report can highlight many problems that exist to the electrical supply internally or externally to the building, that can affect energy consumption, overheating of conductors, nuisance tripping, equipment and lighting failures to name but a few.

WTS can monitor the buildings electrical supply during a normal working week and measure such parameters as voltage, current, harmonic distortion, maximum demand and power factor.

The report can highlight potential energy savings, issues with peak demand, amount of spare capacity per phase, load balancing and any potential issues with poor power factor or harmonic distortions.
Power Quality surveys can work in tandem with an electrical inspection to ensure that any unseen issues are quantified and reported.
